Forklift Operator
Olive Harvey has a Forklift Operator Class starting on November 15th. This is a 5 day class that meets Monday through Friday from 4-9pm. The class costs $860 and is not covered by financial aid. DCFS will pay for the class through the CCPP program as long as the student completes the class.

Fork Lift Operator
CE TRDE– 118
Description:
This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements by providing students with the necessary training to become a safe and effective fork Lift Operator. Students will receive training in vehicle inspection, safety operation, and maintenance and workplace safety.
Prerequisites: Qualifying students must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, in good mental and physical health, be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds unassisted, bend and stretch and sit and or stand for extended periods of time. The minimum age requirement in most cases is 18, although some companies require operators to be at least 21 years of age, operators are not required to hold a state driver’s license . Please speak to your CSW for more information. The next forklift class is on January 25th.
